ExpertVision and SmartCom Bulgaria collaborated on the Call
Recording project – a system for recording phone calls made
through Cisco Call Manager.
The recording module tracks the network traffic and catches
the RTP packages when a call begins. Then the call is compressed
and recorded in non-standard format (for higher security). The
archiving module moves old records to a pre-defined location
to preserve hard-disk space. The administrative module provides
an interface to oversee the parameters of the recorded calls
as well as to listen to them or to convert them in WAV format,
according to the user rights.
